Our passion for restoring nature, especially through afforestation, and our commitment to meaningful climate action make us the ideal partners to support your ESG and CSR goals, with purpose and a touch of fun along the way.
Kaz Bishop
Founder & Director
Kaz is the Founder of Green Up Britain and a passionate advocate for nature-based climate solutions.
Motivated by her own climate anxiety, she founded Green Up Britain to take proactive action and help others do the same.
With a PhD in pharmacy and a background as a leading healthcare advertising copywriter, Kaz combines scientific insight with strategic storytelling to drive environmental change.
Her time as a Woodland Creation Officer with the Forestry Commission gave her hands-on experience in how well-designed woodlands can boost biodiversity, improve flood resilience, and capture carbon, while revealing the growing risks from pests and diseases in a changing climate.
Through Green Up Britain, Kaz’s now focused on turning awareness into action, supporting reforestation,
protecting ecosystems, and empowering communities to take meaningful climate action across the UK.
Adela Buglass
Head of Sales
Adela is one of the Founding Members of Green Up Britain, and brings over eleven years of experience in Sales and Relationship Management within global advisory and financial institutions, along with more than four years of dedicated volunteer work.
Adela is deeply committed to Green Up Britain’s mission and values, actively participating in events and initiatives.
Adela works closely with Kaz, to lead efforts in Sales and Partnerships.
Gemma Rugar
Head of Operations
Gemma plays a key role in keeping Green Up Britain moving forward, ensuring our teams and projects have the support they need to succeed. With a strong background in transformation and programme management, Gemma’s skilled at turning vision into action and keeping complex initiatives on course.
Driven by Green Up Britain’s mission, Gemma believes that when people take small, local steps together, they can make a real difference for their communities and the planet.
